Re: No Animation in SnowLeopard
What a disappointment … when I first got this app, it was awesome, I literally spent days on it, figuring my way through. Then 1.3 was released along with a bunch of hype about all the possibilities Snow Leopard would have to offer, then nothing (lots of iPhone apps, games, etc). I guess not enough ...

Re: No Animation in SnowLeopard
It seems quite evident that the developer has no sense of commitment nor moral obligation to the people who have purchased this app. The following needs to be removed from the product feature list OR a warning needs to be added so that potential buyers would know that it DOES NOT WORK in Snow Leopar...

No Animation in SnowLeopard
I've been creating some really wonderful fractals with Q|F unfortunately since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, animation doesn't work right … I get vertical bands with a hint of the animation in the background totally unusable. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to render movies once again. It's still...

Is this App
Let's see, it's been over 2 years since we were told about a version 2.0. Since then there've been numerous iphone and ipad apps available. I understand they probably bring in more income, but we've paid for this product and have just been left hanging. If it's dead and no longer in development at l...

Re: Lost favorites
Never mind, I found them.
Still looking forward to any word on the next update … I hope you didn't scrap it.

Lost favorites
Greetings,
Last weekend my drive crashed, I managed to back up my Q|F folder from my applications, I'd like to know where my favorites are stored so I may use them when I re-install.

Sorry, I completely forgot about the WWDC. I'm planning to upgrade to Leopard in the next few weeks so that should work out excellently. The changes between Q|F 1.2 to 1.3 were so cool, I can't wait to see what you have in store for a 2.0 version. Now I'm a graphic designer by trade (but I switched ...

Any word on a Q|F 2.0?
I've got to say I find working with Q|F is a BLAST! :D Although I've spent quite a great deal of time on it and created some (what I think to be) gorgeous stuff, I know I'm just scratching the surface. Skipping through your gallery on DeviantArt I came across "What-Dogs-Dream" and the comments menti...

Thanks so much for taking the time to assist me. When I followed your directions (using a default starting point), I got a faint image with no background. I duped the layer a few times and merged them for a stronger image; However, there was no alpha channel though. Unfortunately, I wasn't successfu...

My apologies for initially saying jpg, I knew that format doesn't support transparency … I really meant png. I guess I editted the post a little too late. I've been getting some absolutely gorgeous images using HDR1, and the Breeding Pool ROCKS! However, when I try to view them as RGB … they really ...

Re: Thanks!
I'm enjoying this program immensely … finally, a cool fractal program for the Mac. However, I have a problem rendering an alpha channel. I read the earlier post, created the script, etc. it shows up as explained, yet I still get a blank document when I render (tiff and png). The fractal disappears w...
