Re: What's everybody playing?

Just played a session of "Spirit of the Century" and dang, that was awesome!

Re: Variable pairs of dice

But how can I pass variables to that formula and how can I create and modify them in the first place?
Still couldn't figure that out... :|

Re: Variable pairs of dice

Instead, use the :next: facility to roll a d6 in the first formula, and pass that value along to the next phase of the formula (which uses that parameter to control how many pairs of dice to roll). Wouldnt that be like the one above: @1 <- 1Bd6. :next:("Roll D66","\r" + #1Rd6@ + "\p/\g" + #1Gd6@ + ...

Re: Variable pairs of dice

Hmm would that be possible with a custom roll macro?

Re: Variable pairs of dice

How can I create 1d6 pairs?

I tried:

Code: Select all

@1 <- 1Bd6.
:next:("Roll D66","\r" + #1Rd6@ + "\p\g" + #1Gd6@ + "\p").
and

Code: Select all

$1 <- 1Bd6.
"\r" + #1Rd6@ + "\p/\g" + #1Gd6@ + "\p"
But neither worked...
How can I modify the #1 variable?

Re: Need :next: but unsure of use

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=516#p1854
:next: gets used in this script maybe you can modify it to suit your needs.

Re: Traveller

I changed the script to make it easier to read: @1 = 2d6. if ((@1 + #1 + #2 - #3 x 2 - #4) >= 8) then "Broker found!" else "No luck..." end I use numbers in #1,#3 and #4 and a enum with numbers (instead of global variables)in #2 but it still behaves very strange: Even if I make sure that all four va...

Re: Traveller

I tried that too but the problem was still there... But after I had problems with the web based editor and entering enum lists I noticed that it works if I dont use enums+global variables but just numbers instead. I wanted to use the following global variables: A=6 B=4 C=2 and use "A,B,C" as choices...

Traveller

I planned to reduce the amount of dice rolling and table searching needed for trading in an ongoing Traveller campaign but already stumbled over the first test: @1 = 2d6. if @1[1] + #1 + #2 - #3 x 2 - #4 >= 8 then "Broker found!" else "No luck..." end I used the formula from the "Globals, Gamerooms,...

Re: Problems with connecting to the Web-based Editor

Just bought it and had the same problem at first, then I left the server name untouched (Dicenomicon) and entered "guest" as the password for it and used the fixed port number.
Since then it worked...

No idea why...
