Re: q : flame UI Problems

An update to fix this issue (as well as improve speed, compatibility with newest phones/iOS/etc...) has been submitted to the AppStore for approval. No idea how long this is going to take - I've got another that's been waiting for over two weeks now...

Re: 13th Age XML?

I had looked into 13th Age a while back, but came away with the impression that it was basically another 3.5e clone with extra rules for relationships (which seemed kind of cool). I've taken another look and realized that I'm really liking the way that combat is simplified in 13th Age and that there...

Re: iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

Until I come out with an update specifically designed to support the larger screen size of the 6 and 6+, it _should_ just scale up the iPhone 5 experience (I've yet to see any other problems with iOS 8 specifically) I've been toying with a couple of approaches to utilizing the extra space. The portr...

5e Players...

I'm looking for a couple of D&D 5e players to try out the 5e character sheet - it's a bit stripped down (but then again, 5e is all about simplification), but I'd like some feedback/testing. It handles the standard stat based ability tests, skills, initiative, hps, and the death saving throws. I'll p...

Re: Help with existing favorite roll

Once you've entered the 4d6 part, from the dice keyboard tap the "opt" key and then type "?M" (to indicate that the die has a roll macro associated with it). You can then double tap the "d6ARS" (ARS is the default roll macro, due to beginning with the letter "A") and select "Roll Macro" from the "Ed...

Re: Help with existing favorite roll

There are two approaches - the easier (but less obvious) way is to roll a d5 and add 1: 4d5H3+3[code] (adding the 3 to convert 1..5 to 2..6) The alternate, more literal one, requires adding a "roll macro" to reroll dice that are ones: Tap (i) > Roll Macros > Edit > Add Roll Macro... > Done > (Tap ne...

Re: How to transfer birth data on Astrolgo?

All of that data is backed up with the phone - if you've setup the new phone by doing a restore from your previous backup, it will be transferred over. It is also possible, in theory, to use an application such as iFunBox which runs on your computer to grab the "com.gandreas.astrolgo.touch.plist" fi...

Re: d6 System

Haven't gotten to fully test this yet, but I think this will do the trick (and "trick" is the optimal word). I'm also assuming that the d6 uses open ended rolls (IIRC), so let's start by rolling however many dice - for an example, we will have 7 dice, and we keep them a separate values: @rolls <- #1...

Re: Help with White Wolf

Try something like:

Code: Select all

if 6d10tn6 > 5 then
 "Hit for" + 3d10tn6
else
 "Missed"
end
(Where 5 or whatever is the number of successes you need)

Re: Bug report?

I just tried it and have no "real" problems with it. However, there is a spurious "error" displayed while editing it, but once I set up the parameters, there is no actual problem

Thanks for the detailed explanation of the problem - I'll hopefully be able to track this down for an upcoming minor release (which will deal with some minor UI issues)

Astrolgo vs iOS 7.1

There is a know issue that prevents Astrolgo 2.3 from functioning with iOS 7.1

This has been resolved, and the 2.4 update submitted to the AppStore for approval (but based on the number of other apps that suddenly broke with 7.1, I'm guessing it won't be a terribly speedy approval process).
