Re: Astrolgo 2.3 no longer works after iOS 7.1 upgrade

This is actively being worked on.

7.1 is sounding more and more like a "hold off on updating" release (which I pretty much never would have recommended for a ".1" release)

Re: Astrolgo - compare charts

Tapping the "load" button at the bottom of the initial screen will replace the primary/left side event.
Tapping the "compare" button at the bottom will load the secondary/right side event.

Re: Questions about use I can't find in help

Both controls deal with what is shown when you tap on the chart itself - the top left controls what tool is used (with the top right sliding dial controlling options for that): - Simple magnification dial (top right = magnification factor) - Aspect finder (top right = what aspect you are trying to m...

Re: Dice Formula

The need for something like this has been anticipated, so doing this is pretty compact: @x <- 20d10@. @v <- unique(@x). @c <- uniquec(@x). @c + " x " + @v unique() finds all the unique values in a list. uniquec() is similar, but find the corresponding counts of those unique values. The magic is then...

Re: Location input

There are a number of ways to set the location of the desired chart: 1) If you select "Subject" and then "Location" you can quickly enter the latitude/longitude, or city name 2) "Load" > "Specify Other" and then enter the latitude/longitude or city name as above 3) "Earth Shadow" will allow you to m...

Re: Version 3.2 and iOS 6.1.3

Pretty sure I've found the problem (basically, the latest update to Xcode quietly "upgraded" some settings that causes it to not work)

Re: Dicenomicon 3.2

I've tested this on an iPod Touch running 6.1.3. as well as iPads running both 5 and 6 and not been able to reproduce this problem.

If you can get me the crash logs I'll see if I can track this down... (a quick google search will turn up instructions for your specific system as to how to be do that)

Re: Dicenomicon 3.1.4 on IOS 7.02

The close "X" isn't missing, it is just really hard to see (it easier to see on an iPhone/iPod Touch). iOS 7 ends up rendering it either as black or "transparent", which, against the dark gray it also uses, makes it nearly invisible. Just tap where it is suppose to be and everything should work fine...

Dicenomicon 3.2

... Should be available for updating. A bunch of bugs fixed, iOS 7 UI, and some handy little features (grabbing PDFs from DropBox, multiple die bars)

Re: PDF backgrounds in Dicenomicon

Turns out it was actually really easy to add - importing via Dropbox uses the same code as importing via iTunes document sharing, which says "hey, this is already in the user's documents folder, we don't need to import it" (so it thought that the pdf file was already available - all other imported f...

Re: PDF backgrounds in Dicenomicon

The Dicenomicon doesn't use iCloud currently (and if it did, every iCloud app is restricted to its own sandbox, so there is no good way to use it to upload stuff from your desktop). You need to transfer the PDF file using iTunes - drag it into the Dicenomicon's "Documents". Importing PDF files from ...
