There is no current support for that sort of "magnetic ground" feature. I'm not actually sure if this is possible (since doing a held die requires modifying the underlying physics model, which may have problems if done while things are still moving)

The web based editor is going to be going away in the next major release - it has a number of issues (including, as you've noticed, it is difficult to edit and then have to swap away to test, battery drain, problems with background usage/screen lock, etc...). Tap the (i) button > Customize > General > "Shake Clears Ignore" > Off

It was an important feature to add at some point, I'm sure, but I don't remember exactly why... There may be a bug in there that makes this feature less useful than it was suppose to be.

(adding a new die counted as "shaking")

The easiest way to deal with this is to make a roll macro (short version of the issue: Dice Bar can only contain dice or dice with roll macros, not ones with "reducers" which often need to look at group of dice, and when dice are rolled one-by-one it is ambiguous what the "group of dice" it needs to...
