Re: Variable number of dice

You want to use parameters (#1 - #6) to achive this. The code for the formula is simple: #1d10. How you about defining the parameter is dependent on what keyboard you are using, if you are using the Dicenomicon custom keyboard then press on the #1 then double tap on it. If you are using the original...

Re: Help with 40k RPG formulas

Try this for your first formula.

@PER ← d% .
if ( #1 - @PER ) > 0 then ( ( #1 - @PER ) / 10 ) + “\gS” else ( ( @PER - #1 ) / 10 ) + “\rF” end

For your second formula just use a strait open d10. Not as fancy as rolling a second d10 of another color that is open ended. But you get the same result.

Re: HERO System Killing attack +1?

The code works for me.

If the dice for the @1 rolls 2,5 and the @2 dice rolls a 4. I get 16 Stun, 8 Body.

@1 ← 2d6 + 1.
@2 ← (Gd6 - 2) ∨ 1.
(@1 × @2) + “Stun” , @1 + “Body”

Can you copy and paste the code you have?

Re: HERO System Killing attack +1?

Try this:

@1 ← 2 d6 + 1 . @2 ← ( Gd6 - 2 ) ∨ 1 . ( @1 × @2 ) + “Stun” , @1 + “Body”

Re: Expression Understanding

Currently the only way to what you want is to use the next function.

The code goes like this:

Code: Select all

if d20 < 19 then $1 + 3 else :next:( “Critical” , “1d20+3” ) end
Check the ELDERScript tread for how it will get done in a future version.

Re: Scripting for Scion

Try this: 10dXX7 vs1 The XX macro returns 2 for the high face of a dice and 1 for anything else over the target number. It also return -1 for the low face. So on it's own it would not do what you want. That why the vs1 macro is added after. The vs macro is a formula macro with its own target number....

Re: Help needed, roll twice macro

I got it to work with a two formula combination. I always knew that this aproch was possible. A roll macro would have just made things more elegant. Here the code for a generic roll twice and ignore the high number: Roll Twice #0 ← #2 .  @1 ← #1 d#0 @ .  if count #2 ( @1 ) > 0 then  :next:( “Re-Roll...

Help needed, roll twice macro

I need help with a roll macro.

Basically, I'm trying to do a macro that would allow me to ignor the result of the current dice but would roll two more dice and treat the results as separate roll. The goal is to replicate a roll twice on this table result.

Re: The Dicenomicon and White Wolf games

Thanks Tektat04, you're right that an Exalted formula works from the favourite tab but not from the dice bar. It's the way the dice bar works. The dice bar treats all the dice as individual dice that gets added up together. That is why the vs1 gets discarded. Gandreas has a good explanation here: h...

Re: The Dicenomicon and White Wolf games

I've notice that Scootmien is using the dice bar to make his rolls and not the favorite roll. this explain why he is rolling 4 dice but the result info only showes 3. Using the dice bar the vs1 does not work under any circumstance. In a formula vs1 only works when the target number is not displayed....

Re: Fudge dice "Hi" & "Lo" operators feature request

Try this:

Code: Select all

sum(high3(4dF@))
Use the native keyboard to input this formula, there a bug in the custom keyboard that removes the @.
