Re: Bug in Dice Bar?

Cspicer and j0nezn, You have found two bugs in the dice bar. From my understanding the dice bar was always intended to be used for freeform rolls, select one dice at a time. The only elements that can be included are open ended command and dice macros. The editor should have given a warning that a q...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

couple things: I'm using custom dice, so I should be able to replace the 8 and 6 with strings representing my custom names right? also, when entering the formula it continually converts #8 to #0. and rolls neither die.... so close. I think that you just uncovered another bug. Change all reference t...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

Close, your in the right direction but your code will not work for two reasons. One a local variable (@somthing) cannot be used to define the number of dice to be rolled. And secondly both sets of dice will get roll but only the value for one will be reported. Here is a way to do what you want with ...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

David, What keyboard are you using? Go to i > Customize > General > Keyboard. Is it the custom, original or native keyboard? Select the native keyboard. There is a few bugs that have crop up in the editor when using the custom keyboard. Now go to Favorite Rolls and edit your formula. Using the stand...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

I've got most of them fixed (I think) - I'm dealing with some minor (but annoying) visual issues with a certain future OS release... As a work around, you can switch to the "native" keyboard (i > Customize > General > Keyboard: Native), and when you select the "#1" and hit return it should bring up...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

Can you customize the prompt? (ie. "# of character dice" ) Not in text of the formula it self. There are six user definable parameters per formula. Each with it own lable that get define by double taping on it in the formula editor when using the custom keyboard. If you notice I lable it "Dice Qty"...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

To answer your last question first, not that I know. Macro can only evaluate the result of the individual dice and manipulate it's value. Numeric dice selected from the dice bar are added up automatically, textural dice are just listed not added up by type. The formula I wrote can do from 1 to 99 di...

Re: counting "symbols" for WFRP

I do not have time right now to explain how I did it, but here is a custom dice and a game room with a formula that does what you want.
WFRP.zip
I'll post an explanation latter.

Re: Issue with Parameters?

Vaden, you are not alone. I've also been having trouble with editing parameters. To ganders, I found two bugs with the parameters. It seems that a parameter can only be edited if it is associated with a dice. So no 2d6 + #1 without a lot of work around. The other is that the parameter does not autom...

Re: 3.0 Bugs

Formula editor. Can't even type in 2d6-2 without getting a red X. I think that the problem is with the self test function, it's to fast on the draw. Writhing the formula in a text editor and then copy and paste just crashes the app. The web editor still works, but not very useful when I'm out of the...

Same with exporting a roll macro.
