quadrium 2.1 released

Post by gandreas » Mon Sep 18, 2006 10:55 am

quadrium 2.1 is now available for download. It includes the following new features:
  • Extensive additions to the fractal nodes - both kinds and functionality (such as trap blending modes)
Seamless textures support - now you can easily make seamless textures
ColorSync support, including dynamic image adjustment
AppleScriptability - manipulate the image structure using AppleScript, automate building common structures, etc...
And of course, bug fixes, new nodes (20+)

Oh, wow, Wicked Fun yes, this is just beautiful.
I just finished upgrading to 2.1.
Havent had a minute to use Quadrium this summer, too busy kayaking and all that stuff. But now our weather is going into fall and winter, and I sure am looking forward to using this new great version!

But everytime I try to Save As, I get the notice that mine is unregistered.
I do have my serial number, but how do I enter it?
I paid $39.95, back in March 18 2006, so how do I pay for the upgrade? It asks for $59.95. How would I send the difference, if that is what I owe?
Or do I have to pay the full $59.95.
I shall wait till I hear what I should do.
Thank you,
Jane

The upgrade is free to registered users (just a way to thank the early adopters).

You may need, however, to refresh the registration information - to do this, hold down the command key and the "Register" menu item will change to "Reinstall" (this is also how you reactivate it if you have to wipe your computer and completely reinstall it), at which point it will ask you for your original serial number and registration name (as shown in the email you received when you originally registered). You should then be good to go...

Tis odd that I couldn't get it to change from register to reinstall when I hit the Command.
But things are working OK now.
And indeed I am having fun with this amazing program.
Will check in tomorrow,
Thank you,
Jane
