Orrey has display problems running under Leopard (specifically the drop down boxes for planets, moon and sun). I suspect the code needs to be recompiled using Leopard new development tools. Please advise...

same trouble on Leopard also. the drop down window is only partly visible. I use it daily, it is a very nice widget. I hope it can easily be fixed. Thanks

Unfortunately, while it ultimately should be an easy fix, it will take a while to get there (since I have to add support for Widgetarium to do Leopard, which I hadn't planned on doing, and Dashcode is not a valid solution due to the dependancies on Widgetarium style extensions).
But it is a known and easily reproducible problem...
Any Update ?

Any hope for an update in the near future as Leopard migrates to Snow Leopard? Love what you've done with this app for the iphone.

Do you have a time line for updating the Orrery Widget for OS X Version 10.6.2 that you would be willing to share with the forum? Or are you planning to port the "Astromo" iPhone app to the iMac? If so, when could we expect the product to be available as a standalone app or a widget? Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

There are no current plans for updating the Orrery Widget.
There are a number of excellent astronomy applications available for OS X (including free ones as well), so its unclear that a stand alone application would be useful and worth the development time.

Your response is greatly appreciated. Do you have recommendations for standalone apps for the iMac that match the exceptional quality and capabilities you've incorporated into your iphone apps; Astromo or Astrolgo.
If there were a way to port those application (as apps not widgets) to the the iMac, I'm positive we all would all be willing to purchase them in a manner similar to the way they're available from the mac apps store for the iphone.
I'm a diehard iMac user that loves the iphone but until Apple opens their system to Verizon I'm doomed to be without you software.
From the number of hits on your board, it looks like there are well over 3500 people who feel the same way. We need your help because quite frankly nothing out there comes close to what you do!
