Feature: .svgz files

Post by Sfiera » Sat Jun 09, 2007 8:10 pm

I've played around a bit with svg Detective (it's fun to watch as you change the colors!), but I noticed one small thing missing: support for .svgz files. These are exactly like .svg files, except they're compressed with gzip, i.e.

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
gzip -c < blob.svg > blob.svgz
gunzip -c < blob.svgz > blob.svg
I don't think it should be hard to support these, but your framework isn't open source, so I can't add support myself ;)

[edit: disabling html so you can see the shell script]

That _should_ be easy to add to the next version (of course the keyword is "should").
