Editing quickly the number of dice (and such things)

Post by Dampyre » Sun Nov 18, 2012 8:45 am

Hello, I'd like to know if there's a way to edit quickly the number of dice to be rolled. I mean, without editing favorites rolls.

I'd like to touch the kind of roll I want to make, a "box" appears, asking for the number of dice, typing it and then, let's roll ! I don't know if I'm clear enough...

You want to use parameters (#1 - #6) to achive this.

For example if you wanted to roll a variable number of d10, the code for the formula would be: #1d10.

How you about defining the parameter is dependent on what keyboard you are using, if you are using the Dicenomicon custom keyboard then press on the #1 then double tap on it. If you are using the original or native keyboard, select the #1 as per the standard iOS cut and paste method then press enter. Here you can give the parameter a name and a default value.

Thanks a lot, that's exactly what I wanted !
Is it possible using a former result as a number of dice automatically ? I tried using the variable, but I got an error... (sorry for my poor english, I'm french...)
I would like, for Exalted, to enter the number of dice, the DV of the victim, her hardness and have the number of damage made as a result...
