Difficulties with wielding gesture [spoilers]

Maybe I'm missing something, but with the gesture for wield weapon, I can't wield a cockatrice corpse; I get no option for it though it is in my inventory.

Try the "second" wield weapon command (which really should be labelled as "Wield Any")
