Calculation errors

Post by Adamzane » Tue Apr 30, 2013 4:24 am

After running several charts, I have found that while the program is accurate for house cusps and most planets, it is off for Pluto and most Minor Planets an average of about 10' each, in a few cases close to 20' off.

I would like to recommend the program but can't if such incorrect data is produced.

Are plans being made to improve the accuracy?
If so please let me know when an update is available.

Thank you.

Can you provide me with a detail example of what time/location/timezone you are using, what value you are seeing, what value you are expecting to see (and what you are using as a basis for this information). I've seen a wide range of values for some calculations even among trusted sites - for example, compare the US Navy observatory's sun/moon rise values with, say, Wolfram Alpha's values can be several minutes apart.

So sorry for the intrusion but the private messaging on this board fails each attempt.
Can you get in touch with me gandreas? I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks! -John thepixelwrangler at mac dot com.
