Editing dice functions/favs/etc

Post by celestian » Sun May 16, 2010 2:16 pm

Is there an easier way to type in text such as "@BONUS(@STR)" other than using the web-based editor? Is there a keyboard options to get at the global vars? I just recently grabbed this app and so far it's been great just having a few growing pains getting things to work properly for me. I don't tend to bring my laptop so being able to type text would help at times.

Also does the "@BONUS(@STR)" still work to nab the bonuses for strength for the 4e globals/charsheet setup? I want to setup my at-will/encounter/etc powers and pre-configure to use those bonuses in the tohit rolls.

Also I noticed that there is just the 1 "roll" for at-will/encounter. I realize I could do both tohit and damage in 1 roll and display but is that how it was intended?

Yup - just use the @x key (alt + 0 on the number keys) and then double tap on the @x token - you can then enter any text you want for the variable name.

User functions, once defined in the globals, will automatically appear in the function picker list (down at the bottom of the thing)

If you are using the 4e char sheets, you want to just use the variable @CURSTRMOD, which factors in the current modifier for the current strength plus any extra modifiers that have been added (and then there is no need for @BONUS).
